I Don't See

Understood.

Srivatsav Bendi

with a newly polished surface and

sturdy legs cut from the finest of trees.

a slab of granite from the best quarry known and

doors of quality never before seen.

pristine in beauty. perfect in size. precise in nature.

pure white.

no scratches, no cracks

pure white.

no cuts, no bruises.

clean. put together. respected...

but when the doors are opened,

there's nothing inside.

nothing but a scream.

If Only

Srivatsav Bendi

She smiles. Happy as can be. She smiles at her parents. She smiles with her friends. She smiles as she watches the movie with me. Not a care in the world. If only she knew the pain...

He laughs. Happy as can be. He laughs at his comics. He laughs at the video. He laughs with me. Not a care in the world. If only he knew the pain...

The Food burns
The Zippers bite.

The Chairs snatch.

The People scream.

What do you see?
